Unusual Church with no staff, buildings, land, or salaries. We are God's Children from many different area Churches, that gathers surplus Food and Clothing donations from area restaurants, grocers, and Churches, to take to the Homeless living on the streets. Our Saturday morning Mobile Homeless Street Ministry from 9 to Noon feeds and clothes 160, serves hot coffee, iced water, a hot banquet meal, sack lunch to go, all built around 1.5 hours of Praise and Worship and a full Church service specifically for the Homeless. We host and train Church groups from coast to coast.
Homeless who really want help find it on Saturday mornings, many joining our Addiction Recovery and Men's Discipleship Training, a 6 month program teaching basic Life Skills, Character Education, and Christian Education.

Layman Lessons Christian Church is now in its 8th year of Street Ministry Worship Services every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to Noon in an open air asphalt parking lot at 750 Drexel Street, downtown Nashville, TN, in snow storms, wind chill at zero, brutal 120 degree heat, with tables, chairs, canopies for 160+ chronic homeless, serving hot coffee, iced water, a hot banquet meal with metal forks and real plates, shopping in our Mobile Clothing Center for Clothing and Grooming supplies. Meeting the physical needs over the past 8 years earned credibility to address Spiritual, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs! Every dollar donated goes directly to meet the needs of the TRULY NEEDY! We earn trust, provide Triage, and services. Monday - Friday serving Homeless, Elderly Shut ins, Disabled, & kids affected.
All Online Store Purchases and Donations literally save lives - going DIRECTLY to Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked, Shelter the Homeless!
