15 degrees=brutal cold! 44 Homeless still came to Church! Sue, 24, a Blind Homeless woman, responded to the altar call, literally led by the hand each step, by faith to find God…our first person making a Profession of Faith for 2010 was a sweet reward and lesson to all of us. She wanted us to lead her to God…never asked for her sight, but asked for HIS sight instead!
Pastor Jack Oliver led Denny to God in Profession of Faith.
Left to right: Kristie Ammonette, Jack Oliver, Chuck Klusener, Kerrie Cherry, Colleen Hale, Curtis Smith…after a cold day in Street Ministry!
(Motorcycle Bob, Jim and Debbie Hernandez, had already left, but served long and well)
(Masked man is Curtis Smith, Judson Baptist class teacher collects clothing at Church)
All Smiles courtesy of witnessing God perform miracles in the lives of a young blind homeless woman and a homeless man, both God seekers who found their way by faith.
From here, Kerrie takes our surplus food to our Distribution at 1st Avenue South and
Chestnut Streets, part of our 2,000 Homeless meals fed weekly.
LIFE SAVING WARM CLOTHING FROM YOUR CLOSETS!
THE HOMELESS SAY THANK YOU! IT IS FREEZING OUT HERE!
Curtis Smith supervises the line of homeless waiting for their turn for clothing. Remember we are an all volunteer Army of Compassion, no paid staff or employees…all volunteers. Please partner with us to serve God’s needy children!!! PRAY & SERVE!
Our ministry is not funded by any Church, Denomination or Government entity. We depend on God to raiseup volunteers and financial resources to meet all needs. It is His work.
